Some spots on a property just feel unfinished - and a sloped walkway with no support is one of them. That's exactly what we were working with here. A long concrete path leading down a grade, nothing to grab onto. Not ideal, especially for older guests or anyone carrying something with both hands.
We fabricated and installed a steel handrail that follows the full length of the walkway. The rail curves naturally with the path rather than running in a straight line, which tells you something about how it was built - this wasn't a one-size-fits-all solution. It was made to fit the actual layout of the space.
The posts are plate-mounted directly to the ground alongside the concrete, keeping everything tight and stable. The rail itself sits at a comfortable gripping height and has a clean, finished look without being overly decorative. Simple. Sturdy. Done right.
That's really what mobile welding comes down to - bringing the work to the customer and building something that actually fits their property. No hauling anything to a shop. No waiting. We show up, take a look at what's needed, and get it built on-site.
A handrail like this is one of those additions that seems small until you actually need it. Then it's everything. If you've got a walkway, steps, or any area on your property that needs that kind of practical upgrade, this is exactly the kind of work we do.
