We had a great time working with Fitzer Construction on this one. The client wanted an entryway gate that pulled its weight - something that looked sharp, held up to real use, and could handle automated operation without any headaches. That's exactly what we built.

Everything was fabricated in-shop from heavy-duty steel. The geometric horizontal rail design with that stepped corner detail isn't something you pull off a shelf - it takes precise cuts, tight welds, and a clear plan from the start. We powder coated the entire gate in a matte black finish, which not only looks clean but protects the steel from the elements long-term.

The posts are wrapped in a contrasting bronze tone, which ties the whole thing together against the wood-sided outbuilding in the background. Auto openers were installed on both sides so the gate actually works the way the client needs it to - convenient, secure, and reliable every single time.

This kind of work is a good example of what our in-shop fabrication capabilities make possible. When something is built from scratch to a specific design, every measurement is intentional. There's no settling for a size that's close enough or a style that's almost right.

A gate like this does two things at once - it controls access to the property and it sets the tone before anyone even makes it to the front door. If you've got a property that deserves that kind of entrance, this is how you do it right.
