Show trucks don't leave much room for shortcuts. Every detail gets scrutinized, and the exhaust is no exception. This build out of Bemidji called for a fully custom stainless system - one that had to fit clean, look sharp, and hold up for the long haul.
Stainless is one of those materials that rewards patience. It welds differently than mild steel, it moves differently under heat, and if your fit-up isn't dialed in before you strike an arc, it shows. That's exactly why this kind of work happens in the shop - where we can take the time to get every bend, every joint, and every transition right before anything goes on the truck.
We fabbed the entire system in-house. Dual Magnaflow mufflers, carefully routed pipe runs, and tight bends that flow clean from front to back. The goal was a system that looks like it belongs on the truck - not something that was adapted or forced to fit.
Once it was mocked up and fitted to the truck, the difference is clear. The routing tucks up tight, the exits sit right where they should, and the stainless finish ties in with the overall build quality. That's what in-shop fabrication gets you - control over every inch of the system.
Custom exhaust work like this is what we do. Whether it's a show truck or a work rig, if you've got something specific in mind, we're happy to talk through what it would take to build it right.
