Airport Hangar Door and Structural Steel Work in Bemidji and Redby

Two jobs at once - and both of them matter. We've been running hard between Bemidji and Redby lately, handling two very different but equally demanding scopes of work. One's an airport hangar door build. The other is structural steel welding for a water treatment plant up in Redby. Different sites, same standard of work.

The hangar door job is exactly the kind of fabrication work we love. A door frame that size has to be built right - the steel grid laid out flat, squared up, and welded with clean, consistent passes before it ever gets stood up. You don't get second chances on something that spans an opening like that. Every joint has to hold.

The Redby job is a different animal. Welding structural steel for a water treatment plant means working inside a concrete structure with steel embedments and connection points that everything else gets tied to. The ceiling shot gives you a good idea of the scale - rows of steel inserts running the full length of the ceiling, all of which have to be precisely placed and welded. Infrastructure like this doesn't get attention on social media very often, but it's some of the most critical work we do.

This is where mobile welding capability really earns its keep. We're not waiting for steel to come to a shop - we're on-site, working in the structure, under the beam, wherever the job needs us. That kind of flexibility is what keeps projects on schedule when timelines are tight.
